The MGB Cut-away, British Motor Museum, Gaydon

Some general views of the car as part of the 'Ladybird' exhibition: (all images by kind permission of British Motor Museum, Gaydon)

The display blurb. Note that the car was first sectioned for the 1965 UK Motor Show, then upgraded to Mk2 spec for the 1967 Turin Motor Show.

However the tunnel above the gearbox extension is clearly a Mk2 tunnel, so either they had a Mk2 shell available in 1965, or they sectioned a new body in 67 and put all Mk2 stuff in it which makes it a 'new' cut-away, not an upgraded one.

Attention to detail - a radio blanking-plate 'MG' emblem on the trolley.
