The rather large platform alongside the throttle pedal, at the same height and angle as the released pedal. While there looks to be quite a big gap between the two it's rather a narrow pedal, my feet are much wider and you can see from the scuffing just to the left of the arrow that my feet at least have been on there. When I put my foot on the pedal - or so I think - I can't feel that shelf and pressing down to drive off gets me nowhere!

You can clearly see the additional section on this driver's side A-post trim panel, I've half a mind to see if I can cut it off!
