Thank you for putting this account on your site, and my thanks to your father-in-law, Mr. Munn, and all his comrades for their sacrifice. Please accept my belated condolences on his passing. Now, here's a question for all you enthusiasts...if you could purchase an MG just like the one in the wedding pictures...only with modern equipment such as air conditioning, etc. Would you purchase one today? If so, how much would you be willing to pay if this were put back into temporary production?
I appreciate your comments. Please e-mail me @ ecummings@sport.rr.com

So many individual stories about ww11 (and other conflicts) will be

on, his story now gone but not forgotten. You've inspired me to get his
story (as far as I know it) published. The i-net gives us all that

fancied owning a "B" also and aquired one in 1980. I used for daily
transport to work(35miles round trip). It was the one of best snow car
ever I owned. Drove it 5 years at 60mph to and from work, then decided
to retire it. I got it out of storage(an old barn)and redid it. Looks
good, but rough. The engine still runs strong, and fun to drive. It
doesn't see rain or snow any more!
