21st - 24th July 2020, Lake District

Arrival day in glorious weather, view north over the lake towards Keswick and the Skiddaw range

Hotel nestled in the fells ... no mobile signal!

The 'Chinese' bridge - a family in red life-jackets were jumping off into a deep part of the river. The bridge had a quote from 'The House at Pooh Corner' engraved in a slab at one end of the bridge, and when I jokingly remarked to the parents "You are supposed to throw sticks off, not children" they were very amused.

Cat Bells on the right in sunshine ...

... and next day very wet and windy, Keswick in the distant murk

Following day as wet without the wind, Keswick and south over the lake from Latrigg, with Cat Bells the pointy bit just right of centre

Then a couple of hours later back to warm sunshine in the hotel garden for a couple of pints of Wainwrights
