I was so transfixed by the Vampire skidding across the sky with just a whistle, I forgot to take more pictures
Excellent formation aerobatics ...
... wings modelled on the Spitfire. Apparently they don't use Diesel for the smoke anymore on environmental grounds, it's baby oil ...

As the commentator said - "This needs no introduction ..."
But the ultimate experience was the XH558 Vulcan. Sadly 2013 is expected to be the last flying season for XH558. The wings will have reached the limit of their flying hours granted with the airworthiness certificate, and whilst the £200,000 needed to rebuild those could possibly be raised, given that they raise £400,000 for each flying season, the show stopper is likely to be the engines which will also have reached their limit, and they have no spares. The real tragedy is that they did have two spares, but wrecked the ones in the plane one spring when someone forgot to remove the silica gel bags that had been put there in autumn for the winter hibernation.
