Legends of the Indianapolis 500
The 1964 Huffaker-Offenhauser 'MG Liquid Suspension Special' used Alex Moulton's hydrolastic suspension units. The MG connection is that MG 1300 front-wheel drive cars exported to America used the same system, which is a bit tenuous. Some say the suspension was rubbish and they reverted to standard springing and dampers, but there was no evidence of that on the car. Ran as high as 2nd in the 1964 race.
